We go after the people who aren't looking.

That's nearly everyone

we place

city and digital concept.jpg

No BS.
Just the right people.

Twenty CVs that didn't match the brief. A "perfect fit" who'd never carried a quota bigger than half of yours. Radio silence the minute you pushed back. We get it, and that's exactly why we work the way we do.

We only send people we'd stake our name on

If they're not right, you won't see them.

why work with us

Why we go after people who aren't looking

The AE topping the leaderboard at your biggest competitor isn't scrolling job ads. Neither is the SE everyone in the deal asks for. Your ad, your careers page and your TA team's InMails mostly reach people who are already on their way out. We go and find the ones who aren't, and give them a real reason to take the call.

If the role's underpaid, the brief's unrealistic or we can't find the person, you'll hear it from us early, along with the reason why.

We tell you straight

Why you shouldn't work with us

We're not for everyone, and that's fine. Here's when you'd be better off with someone else.

You want 30 CVs by Friday.

You'll get five, and they'll take a bit longer, because we've actually spoken to every one of them.

You're hiring engineers, finance or HR.

We only do sales, pre-sales, customer success and the people who lead them. Ask us about anything else and we'll point you to someone good.

You want to pay under market and hope nobody notices.

They'll notice. We'll tell you what it takes to land the person, even if it's not what you want to hear.

You want a yes-man.

If the brief's unrealistic, the interview process is a mess or your best candidate is about to walk, we'll say so.

They'll notice. We'll tell you what it takes to land the person, even if it's not what you want to hear.

You can't make time to give feedback.

Good candidates have other options. If it takes three weeks to get a "maybe", we'll both lose them.

They'll notice. We'll tell you what it takes to land the person, even if it's not what you want to hear.

You'd rather fire the role out to five agencies and see who's quickest.

We'd rather do one search properly than race to spam your inbox.

They'll notice. We'll tell you what it takes to land the person, even if it's not what you want to hear.

Still here? Then we'll probably get on just fine.

How it works

STEP 01

We get under the hood of the role.

What does the number look like, who's the buyer, why did the last person leave, and what's the real story when a candidate asks "why join you?"

STEP 02

We map the market.

Who's selling into your buyers right now, at which companies, and who's actually hitting their number.

STEP 03

We go and talk to them.

50 to 60 conversations for every role. Most of these people would never have seen your ad.

STEP 04

We check the numbers.

Quota, attainment, deal sizes and who they sold to, checked before you see a name, not after round three.

STEP 05

You meet the best five or so.

Each one comes with a one-page brief, and every one is someone we'd hire ourselves.

STEP 06

We keep it moving.

Honest feedback both ways, so nobody's left hanging for a fortnight and your best candidate doesn't go cold.

STEP 07

We get it over the line.

We handle the offer, the counter-offer and the awkward resignation, and we stay in touch until they've started and settled in.
